About Fleurette
From the visionary behind San Diego’s acclaimed Callie, Chef Travis Swikard introduces Fleurette, a sun-kissed tribute to the French Mediterranean rooted in San Diego’s coastal bounty. After a decade alongside Chef Daniel Boulud in New York City and travels through the South of France, Swikard fell in love with what he calls Cuisine du Soleil, celebrating the flavors of sun and season. At Fleurette, he reimagines modern French Provençal cuisine through California ingredients, uniting two regions through light, flavor, and a devotion to time and place.
Fleurette means “little flower” and signifies new life in nature.
Designed by Studio UNLTD, the sunlit interior blends natural materials, sculptural forms, and coastal elegance, evoking the Riviera and rustic charm of Provence. Named one of Robb Report’s 13 Most Exciting Restaurant Openings in America, Fleurette brings the beauty, energy, and soul of the Riviera to La Jolla, San Diego.
